Restoration Experiences

Sanctuary Retreat Program

Where leadership, restoration, and nature connection come together.

The Regenerative Stewardship Sanctuary™ will host small, purposeful retreats designed to reconnect people with nature while contributing to meaningful ecological restoration. These are not ordinary retreats — they are immersive experiences where the work of healing the land and the work of renewing the self happen together.

Whether you lead a team, teach a class, or simply need time in nature, the Sanctuary Retreat Program offers a place to slow down, contribute, and return with a renewed sense of purpose.

The Science of Nature

Why Retreat in Nature

Research consistently shows that time spent in nature improves wellbeing, creativity, and leadership capacity.

Stronger Team Connection

Shared physical work in nature builds trust, empathy, and collaboration in ways that meeting rooms never can.

Deeper Reflection & Creativity

Time away from screens and schedules opens space for the kind of clear thinking that drives innovation and purpose.

Mental & Emotional Restoration

Nature has a measurable effect on stress, focus, and emotional balance — benefits that last long after the retreat ends.

Meaningful Ecological Contribution

Every retreat leaves a lasting mark on the landscape — trees planted, habitats restored, and ecosystems strengthened.

Leadership & Teams

Corporate Stewardship Retreats

Leadership teams step away from the office and into the landscape — participating in restoration activities while reconnecting with nature and each other. The result is stronger teams, clearer thinking, and a genuine contribution to ecological recovery.

Your Setting

The Sanctuary Landscape

Retreats take place within a peaceful landscape designed for both ecological restoration and human renewal. The Wildlife Spine, pollinator meadows, restored wetlands, and native tree plantings form the backdrop for every experience.

Participants stay at Sanctuary Camp — simple, low-impact accommodation nestled in the landscape — while gathering at the Sanctuary Lodge for learning, meals, and community connection. The combination of quiet overnight immersion and purposeful daytime activity creates something no conference centre can replicate.

Your Legacy

A Meaningful Impact

Every retreat participant contributes directly to the restoration of the sanctuary landscape. Your time on the land leaves a lasting mark.

Tree Planting

Plant native trees and shrubs that will grow into the Wildlife Spine corridor for decades to come.

Pollinator Habitat Creation

Seed wildflower meadows and establish pollinator gardens that support bees, butterflies, and songbirds.

Wetland Restoration

Help restore wetland areas that filter water, recharge groundwater, and provide critical amphibian habitat.

Wildlife Habitat Improvement

Build nesting structures, create wildlife corridors, and establish ground cover for small mammals and birds.

Participants leave knowing their time on the land helped regenerate the landscape — a contribution that grows stronger with every passing season.

A Growing Vision

As the sanctuary grows, the retreat program will expand to host an ever-wider range of gatherings — from seasonal stewardship intensives and research residencies to youth leadership camps and intergenerational restoration events.

The vision is simple: create a place where people return, season after season, to contribute to a landscape that is getting healthier every year — and where they leave a little healthier themselves.

Where Land and People Heal Together

The Regenerative Stewardship Sanctuary™ invites organizations and individuals to step into a living landscape where restoration of land and restoration of people happen together.
